The Challenge

A national insurance provider specializing in commercial and specialized liability was caught in a dangerous cycle. They were almost entirely dependent on third-party lead aggregators, paying upwards of $200 per lead. While these leads were high-intent, the margins were razor-thin, and the provider had zero brand equity with the customers they were acquiring.

Their own website was technically sound but "invisible" to search engines for the very keywords that drove their business. They were competing against giants with massive budgets, and their content was buried under layers of legacy site architecture that failed to signal authority to Google.

The BROG Strategy

We moved them from a "content factory" model to an "authority engine" model, focusing on how search engines actually perceive financial expertise.

1. Structural Authority & Internal Link Sculpting

We completely re-engineered their internal linking structure. By using a "Hub and Spoke" model, we funneled the authority from their high-traffic blog posts directly into their high-conversion product pages. This signaled to Google exactly which pages were the most important, resulting in a rapid climb for competitive terms like "commercial liability insurance."

2. Entity-Based SEO & Topical Dominance

Instead of targeting individual keywords, we targeted "entities." We built out a comprehensive knowledge base that answered every possible question a business owner might have about risk management. This established the provider as a topical authority, causing Google to trust their entire domain more than the thin content of lead aggregators.

3. AI Discoverability & Schema Optimization

We implemented advanced FinancialService and InsuranceProduct schema markup. This ensured that when users asked AI assistants like ChatGPT or Gemini for insurance recommendations, our client was cited as the primary source of truth, capturing a new wave of "zero-click" search traffic.
